Meet Dr. Amanda Luck

I have always wanted to be a dentist having spent extensive time at the dentist and orthodontist growing up. I feel people deserve the best care possible and I strive to give that to every single patient I treat. I strive to reverse the stigma of dentistry and make treatment more tolerable and enjoyable as possible for a patient. Getting to know patients as people and learning about their many different backgrounds is one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Spencer Family Dental works to make a relaxed enviorment for patients. We are more of a family than a team.

I graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Sciene in Cellular/Mollecular Biology then went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to achieve my DMD.

I stay up to date on new materials and techniques in clinical dentistry, as well as advances in relaxation approaches for phobic patients. I believe this helps me deliver the best care possible and to foster a relaxed setting, which benefits patient and doctor kinship.

Outside the Office

I grew up in upstate New York in the Adirondacks but moved to Steilacoom, WA in November 2015. When I'm not in the office, you can find me, my husband Charles and our two-year old, Theodore, enjoying the outdoors and exploring the Pacific Northwest. We love to hike, snowboard, cross country ski and bike, as well as visit museums and explore new restaurants.

I also volunteer with the Military Spouse Family Readiness Group. It gives me a sense of belonging and oportunity to give back to the local community.
